Kelly Clarkson boldly defended "American Idol" in her latest blog entry. "E! News" reported the KC news story on last Friday's episode. Co-host Ashlan Gorse (showing major cleavage) looked "super hot" in her red dress. WOW! My DVD pick of the week: "The Time Traveler's Wife" starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams. It's the most romantic film of 2009! BTW: I genuinely LOVED the new romantic drama "Dear John" (based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks). I even cried! My grade = A-. "Dear John" debuted in #1 at the weekend box office (beating "Avatar").

Good news, KC fans! Lady Antebellum's sophomore CD "Need You Now" is #1 on "Billboard" magazine. Congrats to Hillary, Charles, and Dave! An impressive follow-up for the country music trio! Their music video "Need You Now" is #5 on CMT's "Top 20 Countdown" and #7 on GAC's "Top 20 Country Countdown." I also heard "I Run To You" at BJ's restaurant yesterday.
