For the record: I saw Kelly Clarkson's commercial promoting the San Jose Events Center concert on November 29th. The 30-second commercial aired during "E! News." I also noticed that Miss Clarkson is mentioned in the "American Music Awards" advertisement. In other Hollywood news: Actress Rachel McAdams (who recently turned 31) denied that she's playing Black Cat in "Spider-Man 4." Furthermore, I loved the witty "Play Book" episode of "How I Met Your Mother" on Monday night. Susan Sarandon's daughter Eva Amurri guest starred as Ted's love interest.

Kelly Clarkson's music video "Already Gone" returns to #8 on VH1's "Top 20 Countdown." Congrats to the bubbly and beautiful pop singer! "Already Gone" is currently #4 on the radio program "American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest." In celebrity birthdays: Happy 31st Birthday to "The Notebook" actress Rachel McAdams on Tuesday, November 17th (tomorrow)! My DVD pick of the week: Director J.J. Abrams's stellar sci-fi remake of "Star Trek." BTW: I loved the new disaster flick "2012." John Cusack saves the day! Spectacular special effects! My grade = A-.
